Antigua's 65th Annual Charter Yacht Show

Dec 4th-9th 2026 - Antigua's premier yachting event returns for its 65th year, welcoming the world's finest charter yachts to the historic waters of English Harbour. Brokers, captains and guests gather each December for four days of yacht viewings, social events and the celebrated camaraderie that has made this show a cornerstone of the Caribbean sailing calendar.

February 2027

18th edition of the RORC Caribbean 600

Every February, Antigua plays host to one of offshore sailing's most prestigious races. The RORC Caribbean 600 is a non-stop 600-nautical-mile course winding around 11 Caribbean islands - including Barbuda, Nevis, St Kitts, Saba and Guadeloupe - starting and finishing right here in Antigua near Fort Charlotte. Now in its 18th edition, the 2027 race sets off on February 22nd with over 500 sailors from around the world competing across IRC Offshore, Class40 and Multihull fleets. Organised by the Royal Ocean Racing Club in association with the Antigua Yacht Club, it forms part of the world's largest offshore racing series alongside the Rolex Fastnet Race and Rolex Middle Sea Race. One of the great spectacles of the Caribbean sailing calendar - and Antigua is at the heart of it.

March 2027 · events

15th Annual Superyacht Challenge

The 16th Superyacht Challenge Antigua takes place in early March 2027, hosted out of the iconic Nelson's Dockyard in English Harbour. An invitational event limited to an exclusive fleet of 12 to 15 superyachts exceeding 30.5 metres, it offers four days of competitive racing off Antigua's south coast paired with relaxed dockside social events. Scheduled directly before the St Barths Bucket, the challenge is designed purely for the pleasure of owners, guests and crew - a non-commercial, camaraderie-first celebration of sailing at its finest.

April 2027 · events

Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta

Each April, the historic waters of English Harbour come alive with one of the Caribbean's most beautiful and unhurried sailing events. The Antigua Classic Yacht Regatta, held at Nelson's Dockyard from April 14–19, 2027, gathers classic, vintage and spirit-of-tradition vessels ranging from 30 to 180 feet - many of them wooden schooners and ketches with decades of ocean miles behind them. Founded in 1987, the regatta offers spirited racing off Antigua's coastline alongside a relaxed programme of cream teas, gig racing, open mic nights and the celebrated Concours d'Elégance. The sight of canvas sails passing Antigua's headlands against the backdrop of Nelson's Dockyard is among the most photogenic in the Caribbean sailing calendar. Held just before Sailing Week, it is the perfect warm-up - and an event with a character entirely its own.

Antigua Sailing Week

Now in its 58th year, Antigua Sailing Week is one of the Caribbean's longest running and most beloved regattas. Taking place April 21–25, 2027, the event has evolved into a point-to-point format that takes the fleet on a tour of the island - combining spirited racing with new destinations, time ashore and the laid-back Caribbean spirit the event has always been known for. Founded in 1967 and based out of English Harbour, the regatta typically draws around 100 yachts and 1,500 participants from across the globe. Whether you're racing or watching from shore, Sailing Week is one of those events that reminds you exactly why Antigua is one of the world's great sailing destinations.

59th Annual Antigua & Barbuda Sports Fishing Tournament

Each May, Antigua and Barbuda hosts one of the Caribbean's most celebrated fishing competitions. Now in its 59th year, the Annual Antigua & Barbuda Sports Fishing Tournament draws anglers from across the region and beyond to compete in some of the most abundant waters in the Caribbean. Based out of Falmouth Harbour Marina and just minutes from prime offshore fishing grounds, the multi-day event welcomes everyone from seasoned professionals to first-time competitors. Register your team, check your gear and fuel up - it's time to enjoy the fishing and enjoy the lime.

Antigua's 70th Anniversary Carnival

Antigua Carnival 2027 is a milestone - the festival celebrates its 70th anniversary under the theme "Legendary 70," running from July 20 to August 3. One of the Caribbean's most vibrant and accessible summer festivals, Carnival fills the streets of St John's with iron bands, soca, pageants and the unmistakable energy of Wadadli spirit on the road. The festivities build across two weeks of competitions including Soca Monarch and Panorama - before culminating in the iconic Carnival Monday and Tuesday road march, where mas bands, elaborate costumes and non-stop music take over the capital. Whether you're joining a band or watching from the sidelines, the 70th edition promises to be a historic celebration of Antiguan culture.
